Why does sending USDT cost TRX or ETH?
Because USDT is a token on someone else's blockchain, and that chain charges its own fee. On Tron, every transaction uses Bandwidth, and smart-contract calls also use Energy. A TRC-20 transfer is such a call. When your staked resources and free quota run out, TRX is burned to cover the cost.
On Ethereum, a token transfer is also a smart-contract call, and its gas is paid in ETH. So keep a little TRX or ETH next to your USDT.
Which USDT networks are not accepted?
Every network except TRC-20 and ERC-20. Tether lists USDT on many chains, including Solana, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain and Ton. It no longer issues or redeems USDT on Omni, Kusama, Bitcoin Cash SLP, EOS or Algorand.
Our checkout watches only Tron and Ethereum addresses. USDT sent on another chain does not reach your top-up and may not be recoverable. If you hold USDT on Solana, swap it in your own wallet first, or top up in SOL instead.
Is paying with USDT private?
No. Tron and Ethereum are public ledgers, so a USDT transfer and its addresses can be seen by anyone. Tether's terms also allow it to freeze tokens and blacklist addresses when it finds prohibited use. Stablecoins are convenient dollar money, not private money.
What stays private is your identity on our side: we simply never ask who you are, so there is no name, no email and no ID to link to the payment.

USDT payments: FAQ
Why pay for proxies in USDT instead of Bitcoin?
USDT is a stablecoin meant to track the US dollar, and our prices are set in dollars. So the amount you hold rarely needs recalculating, which helps teams with a fixed monthly budget. The trade-off is privacy: USDT moves on public ledgers and its issuer can freeze tokens.
Do I need TRX in my wallet to pay with USDT TRC-20?
Usually, yes. A TRC-20 transfer uses Energy and Bandwidth, and if your staked resources and free quota are not enough, TRX is burned to pay. If you send from an exchange instead, the exchange handles the network fee and may charge a withdrawal fee.
I sent USDT on the wrong network. Can you recover it?
We can only credit payments that arrive on the network shown on the top-up screen. Write to support with the top-up's payment ID, the exact amount and the network you used, and we will check what is possible. We cannot promise a recovery, so always compare the network label on the top-up screen with your wallet before sending.
My exchange took its fee from the amount. Is my top-up lost?
No. The top-up shows underpaid and the amount still missing. Send that remainder to the same address before the top-up expires, and the full amount is credited. After expiry, the USDT that arrived is still credited to your US-dollar balance.
Can Tether freeze a payment I send to you?
Can I get a refund in USDT?
Yes, within the refund policy: full refund within 24 hours of purchase if less than 100 MB of the pack was used; a dedicated port that cannot deliver a working IP is refunded in full. Refunds are paid to your account balance. For a USDT refund, give us an address and say whether it is TRC-20 or ERC-20. The full process is on the refunds page.
