What can advertisers verify with proxies?

Anything that changes with the viewer's location, network or device. Typical checks:

  • Geo-targeting: does a campaign aimed at Riyadh and Jeddah actually serve there, and not in Dammam?
  • Creatives: do the right language, currency and offer appear, for example Arabic and English creatives in the UAE?
  • Landing pages: does the destination load, show the local price and avoid broken geo-redirects?
  • Brand safety: which pages and apps show your ads next to which content?
  • Affiliate compliance: are partners bidding on your brand terms or sending users to unapproved pages?

How do proxies help detect ad fraud against advertisers?

They let you see what a real local user sees, which is how cloaking is caught. A cloaked landing page shows reviewers and foreign visitors a clean page, and local users something else. Checking the same URL from a home IP or a carrier IP in the target city exposes the difference.

The same applies to affiliate redirect chains: a residential exit shows where a tracking link really leads in that market. Record the URL, a screenshot, the timestamp with timezone and the exit location for each finding.

Residential or mobile IPs for ad checks?

Use residential IPs for desktop and web placements, and mobile IPs for anything served to phones. Phones are the main way people go online in much of our zone. ITU reports that mobile phones are the most common gateway to the Internet; in Africa, 66% of people own a mobile phone but only 36% are online.

Mobile ad networks can serve different ads by carrier, so rent a dedicated 4G/5G port on each carrier you buy. In the UAE, for example, that means e& and du. Rotate the port between checks when you need a fresh carrier IP; a new IP takes about 5–15 seconds.

How do I check a landing page from a given city?

Load the landing page, or your own tracking link, through a sticky city session and read the redirect chain. Headless browsers give the full picture, including scripts and rendered creatives; see browser automation with proxies.

Ad verification proxies: FAQ

Can I verify ads city by city?

Yes, on residential proxies. Add the city to the username, for example USERNAME-country-ae-city-abu_dhabi, and keep one sticky session per check. Targetable cities are listed live in the dashboard for each country.

Can I choose the mobile carrier for ad checks?

Yes. When you rent a dedicated 4G/5G port, you pick the country and the carrier from the modems in stock. Rent one port per carrier you want to verify, and rotate its IP by link, API or timer between checks.

Does checking ads count as an impression?

Loading a page that serves ads can register an impression, as for any visitor. Keep verification volumes small and proportionate, use your ad platform's preview tools where they exist, and never generate impressions or clicks on purpose.

Do I need a company account or KYC for ad verification?

No. Agencies and advertisers get the same no-KYC service: an account number, crypto payment and sub-users for each client or campaign. You remain responsible for all traffic sent with your credentials.

Which countries can I verify ads in?

Any of 190+ countries at checkout. We publish detailed pages with cities, carriers and local platforms for Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia; see residential locations and mobile locations.

How much does an ad verification setup cost?

Residential traffic starts at $0.53/GB on the largest pack, with a 1 GB test pack for $1.88. A dedicated mobile port costs $2.63 per day or $20.25 per 30 days, as of October 2026. Everything is bought from a balance you top up in crypto: minimum top-up $25; unused balance stays on your account (never expires, non-refundable). See pricing.
